Personal Biography
Dr. Oita Etyang, PhD is an expert in governance and elections management, systemic peacebuilding, strategic conflict analysis, Conflict Structural Vulnerability and Resilience Assessment (CSVRA).
Dr. Etyang has designed and implemented programs and developed training modules on elections management, conflict early warning, conflict management social cohesion, post-conflict reconstruction, mediation, dialogue and development of National Infrastructure for Peace (IfP). Dr. Etyang has been involved in cutting edge research whose outcomes have shaped policies and enriched academic discourse both at the national and regional levels. His research specialties include Conflict Prevention, Resolution and Management, Governance and Development- areas of specialisation of which he has numerous peer-reviewed published works in the form of books, book chapters and journal articles.
